A gorgeous Vintage William Spratling amethyst sunburst necklace from the 1940s! This beautiful piece is particularly large in size and made of sterling silver. At the center of this piece is a large, cabochon amethyst stone and shooting out from the center are 10 sterling silver “rays”. Alternating with these rays are 10 smaller amethyst stones. All 11 stones are bezel set within the sterling sun and have striking purple color. The back of the pendant reveals a pin clasp, which can be used to keep the sun securely in place when worn. At the top of the pendant are 2 rings that are attached to the piece. Comes with complimentary iron chain.
